Amentum supports Department of Energy (DOE) facilities and provides decontamination and decommissioning (D&D) services to both commercial and government customers worldwide. Amentum’s unique experience includes the management of the U.S.’s only deep geologic repository for nuclear waste, as well as the U.K.’s principal facility for low-level waste disposal. Amentum is a longstanding leader in this market, from concept thru execution, in the vitrification of high level waste, converting nuclear liquid waste into a stable glass form for long-term safe storage.
