Supplier Diversity

Supplier Diversity

At Amentum, we are committed to supplier diversity and the role it plays in our economy and the communities where we serve.  It is our belief that these partnerships are critical to our success and the successful support of our customers’ missions.  To further these ends and articulate his personal dedication to the subject, our CEO has made a formal statement of commitment, a copy of which is available on the right.

The Amentum Small Business Office is designed to expand subcontracting opportunities for all small business concerns, including small disadvantaged, women-owned, historically underutilized business zones, veteran, service-disabled veteran-owned, historically black colleges and universities, minority institution, Alaskan Native and Indian Tribal businesses.

Outreach Programs

We actively sponsor and participate in various major small business procurement fairs around the country to demonstrate our support and to locate potential suppliers. Furthermore, Amentum currently holds active membership in many organizations, such as the U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce (USWCC), DoD Regional Councils for Small Business Education and Advocacy, and the Tri-industry Small Business Advisory Panel (TRIAD), to name just a few. To connect with us, see a current list of opportunities to the right.

Mentor-Protégé Program

Our Mentor-Protégé Program strives to foster long-term business relationships with our protégés and increase the overall number of small business that receive federal prime contract and subcontract awards. We have established long-term relationships with many of our protégés—some more than 10 years—and continue to foster them as we develop new ones. Our goal is to help our protégé firms use their involvement in the program to develop needed business and technical capabilities to grow their business. Successful mentor protégé partnerships provide positive outcomes for both the protégé and the mentor.
