Few places embody military commitment like Colorado Springs, home to an exceptionally strong and mission‑aligned defense community with the U.S. Air Force Academy, Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station and the Army’s Fort Carson and Space Forces’ Peterson and Schriever bases. With a legacy rooted in national defense, Amentum is proud to support this community and prioritize veterans and their families as our presence across the Pikes Peak region grows.

Our commitment to the Colorado Springs military community is visible year‑round through workforce development programs, strategic partnerships, and sustained volunteer engagement. Through initiatives such as SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes, Amentum helps transitioning service members build purposeful career paths in civilian life. Since 2022, 62 service members have participated across two major Colorado Springs contracts, with an impressive 72% moving into full‑time roles with the company.

Carmel, which provides essential resources to military families across the region. Whether offering interview and résumé feedback, attending community networking events, or rolling up their sleeves to serve alongside local partners, Amentum employees continue to uphold a shared mission: build stronger connections, enhance community resilience, and honor those who serve.

This year’s award of the NORAD and USNORTHCOM Integrated Strategic Warning and Space Support Contract 3 (NISSC 3) only reaffirmed the company’s enduring presence in the region, offering new opportunities for veterans and military‑connected professionals to continue supporting our nation’s national security.
