What is your role at Amentum?

I lead a specialized team dedicated to securing the Operational Technology (OT) and control systems that power our nation’s critical infrastructure. Our work spans vital sectors, including power, water, advanced manufacturing, oil and gas, and more.

Describe a typical workday at Amentum for you (Day in The Life):

My role offers a unique balance between strategic planning/design and hands-on execution. On any given day, I might be in the office designing robust cybersecurity controls or on-site in the field—hard hat and steel-toe boots on—actively implementing those systems to ensure operational resilience.

What do you enjoy about working for Amentum and what do you find most rewarding?

I find it incredibly rewarding to collaborate with a team that is deeply committed to the mission. Protecting national critical infrastructure isn’t just a job; it’s a responsibility we take seriously to ensure the safety and security of our clients and the public.

What inspired you to pursue a career in engineering, and how has it shaped your journey at Amentum?

I’ve been driven by a passion for technology from a young age. Early in my career, I was introduced to Operational Technology (OT) and became fascinated by how digital systems could be leveraged to improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of physical, real-world processes.
