Last week Amentum racked up the accolades in a run of various award ceremonies.

CFO Travis Johnson started the winning streak with the Public Company CFO of the Year award by the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC).

NVTC, recognized as a premier tech industry trade association in the region, announced the winners of the 2025 Technology CFO Awards during a gala celebration on June 2. The event, now in its 29th year, recognizes outstanding CFOs and finance executives whose leadership fuels innovation, strategic growth, and economic impact across the National Capital Region.

Travis continued the run of victories as he was also named CFO of the Year (Private & Public Company Annual Revenue greater than $500M) by WashingtonExec.

WashingtonExec, a distinguished organization helping build trusted relationships between industry and government executives, hosted its 2025 Chief Officer Awards on June 4. This prestigious event is WashingtonExec’s premier recognition of the executives shaping the future of government contracting.

CEO John Heller accepted his 9th Wash100 Award by Executive Mosaic, an award conferred annually to 100 of the most impactful leaders in government and government contracting. The award recognizes transformative leadership, significant contributions and potential to revolutionize the future of the industry.

And on June 5, ACG National Capital hosted the 23rd Annual Corporate Growth Awards 2025, where Amentum closed the week with two awards: Deal of the Year : Over $250M and Deal Team of the Year: Public Company.

ACG, the premier M&A deal-making community with a mission of driving middle-market growth, hosts the Corporate Growth Awards to celebrate the business leaders, deal teams and companies that make the national capital region and its business community one of the fastest growing, successful and most active in the nation.

The executives accepting their respective awards all attributed the year’s wins to the true drivers of success – the contributions and dedication of their teams and the extended Amentum organization.

So, a big, resounding thank-you to all the amazing teams for their hard work, talent, and sacrifices that enabled Amentum to accomplish its successful merger and public company debut, and for paving the way to complete the integration to one new Amentum!
