Joint Venture to Support Remediation at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard in San Francisco

CHANTILLY, VA, March 9, 2026 — RSI Amentum Environmental Solutions LLC, a joint venture between Amentum (NYSE: AMTM) and RSI, has been awarded a position on the U.S. Navy (NAVFAC) Demolition Projects Construction IDIQ contract with a ceiling value of up to $999 million.

The demolition services awarded under this contract are primarily expected to address targeted environmental tasks at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard, a Superfund site, in alignment with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements. The firm-fixed price structure provides predictable pricing and cost management for the government while enabling RSI Amentum Environmental Services to execute the work efficiently and safely.

“Amentum and our partner RSI have a tremendous record of delivering safe remediation utilizing the most advanced technologies for the US government,” said Mark Whitney, president of Amentum’s Energy & Environment business. “This opportunity expands our work with NAVFAC, where we will be bringing our unique expertise from decades of demolition and remediation experience at the most environmentally challenging sites in the U.S.”

“Hunters Point is among the most technically complex environmental restoration efforts in the nation, and RSI is perfectly positioned to advance the site’s cleanup priorities,” said RSI President Allison Getsi. “Our partnership with Amentum combines complementary capabilities and a shared commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and performance in support of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command’s mission.”

Amentum will leverage its expertise in the use of 3D scanning, waste minimization modeling, GIS mapping and advanced characterization techniques to maximize reuse and recycling to safely and efficiently execute this important environmental restoration for the Navy.

The contract, issued by NAVFAC Southwest, has a two-year performance period with three option periods. Work is expected to be completed by February of 2031.
