How did you come to join Amentum?
I have always been interested in the government and researched opportunities within Amentum.
What is your professional and personal background?
Holds a combined 17+ years of human resources experience in government, manufacturing, and construction industries. Certified in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) and served on DEI council, and led the community pillar.
Describe the work you do and how you think it makes a positive impact.
Human Resources is evolving which is one of the reasons why I chose this profession. I enjoy employee engagement, continuous improvement, learning new skills, and problem-solving.
What are some of your accomplishments and/or what has been your proudest career moment?
Earning my MBA in HR in 2010, advancement in my career in Human Resources. I literally started my professional career with a small company and always pushed myself to learn one new thing every day. I am extremely grateful for any and all opportunities presented.
What do you enjoy about working for Amentum?
The team collaboration at Amentum is phenomenal and always brings enthusiasm every day.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about employee engagement, training, and development. Each person has a unique talent that can influence the entire team. I am also passionate about volunteerism and mentorship. I am an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. where I proudly serve as chairman of the scholarship committee.

What does safety mean to you or do you have a favorite safety tip?
Safety is paramount and personal to me. I always share with coworkers that they should return home BETTER each day. We should all have each other’s back when it comes to safety.
What’s the best invention in the world and why?
Iphone, there’s nothing more to say it’s just great!
